并非所有的痕迹的出现就表示轴承坏掉了,轴承在正常的状况下使用也会留下受力痕迹的。轴承在负荷下运转,其滚道的接触面在外观上呈晦暗的发乌。但这并非表示是磨损,同时也跟寿命无关。此发乌的痕迹构成了轴承的受力痕迹,此痕迹随其运转与负荷状况,其外观也各不相同,仔细地检查就能帮助我们判断轴承是否在正常的状况下运转。

轴承损坏的开始:轴承从开始使用到个材料疲劳点出现的长短,是和这段轴承的转数、负载大小、润滑及清洁度有关。疲劳是负载表面下剪应力周期性出现所形成的结果,经过一段后,便会引发微小的裂纹,然后渐渐延伸至表面。当滚动体经过这些裂纹形成的小块面积后,便有些裂块开始脱落,形成所谓的剥皮现象。
